art and i got to launch and it was already on. "listen to that cycle..." i said... but it wasn't a cycle... it was a thousand + swarm of bees~. the bees came right up to launch and hovered over it for about 30 seconds. they were beautifully scary. they left but came back as i was ready to launch but was fumbling around trying to get my brake handles out of the caribiners (snaps broken). luckily i was off ~ leaving art and the bees to their devices. art escaped unscathed and we had a typical nuthouse flight out to the high school~ max altitude 3900. Later that day~ art demonstrated the possibilities of high wind launching by sommersaulting uphill, suspending for 2 seconds in a headstand then sommersaulting back~ pulling off the circus launch of the year. pretty much beesness as usually for us knuckleheads.
