Wed, Happy Canyon report

In case you want to know: today (Wednesday) I headed out to Happy Canyon to just see. Got there around 1:00 pm and the winds were 10-18 with gusts and big lulls. The later dropped me out after two minutes. A few hours and chapters of a book later, I checked again. At 4:00 pm winds we're about the same (it was much stronger in between) 10-18, the lulls gone and the gusts +-5 but with rapid cycles. I got over an hour of flying in and lots of top landings. Couldn't really go anywhere, and the vertical pops were a bit heavy for any beginners.
