Fly Dunlap

Wade here, I'm heading to Dunlap for 8 days to get acclimated to that area. I've got a spare tent or queen bed (in trailer) if your interested in coming up and sharing rides/chases. Dunlap is a big-air thermal spot east of Fresno. Call if you are interested, (831) five eight eight - 9101

Good day here. Flew one hour, the thermals were strong 800fpm but trashed a bit by the wind. Some collapses, but nothing serious. Greg P. is resident here and drives people up. There is a SF Bay area event here this weekend, HGs I think.

Sounds fun..I'm thinking of heading up there the first week of June..what do the locals think about the conditions then ?

I'm not a Dunlap "local" Cort, but I know the site well enough to tell you that it's very consistently good all summer, and probably at its best right around the time you're considering going. Have fun.
